The Power, The Passion star lets off steam by orking out and wakling the dog
Julian McMahon owes his successs to tai-chi, massage and a talking dog. The star of numerous TV commercials and late-night lusty soap The Power, The Passion reckons that regular exercise is the only thing that gets him through his gruelling 14m hour days.
His maxim is the time-honoured “the healthier the body, the healthier the mind”, and he puts it into practice with mind-boggling dedication.
Julian lieks to let off steam of a different kind after a long day of sleeping around on The Power, The Passion he’ll usually head off to the gym for a workout, followed by a massage. On fine evenings you’ll find him on the beach with his dog.
“I take my dog for a walk every day for about an hour. I teach it to do tricks… you know. Like to fetch, stay, walk, talk…”
But wait - there’s more. Jules manages to fit in tai-chi - “a lot of deep breathing, relaxation and centering yourself” - a course on Chinese theatre, rowing on the weekends, private tutoring and learning scripts.
Any time left overafter all that is spent catching up on a bit of shut-eye.
Even though the hunkish star is on “no diet whatsoever”, he’s kept his boyish figure and his skin is clear.
Julian admits (a bit shyly) that although he was using cleansers every day, because of the heavy studio makeup, which was making his skin “awful”, it’s settled down now and he’s sticking to plant-based Clarins products, used at the studio.
So after finding Jules to be an all round healthy type of guy, what about his social life? We discovered he doesn’t smoke and rarely touches the demon drink.
Partying occurs only on special occasions, and as for any otherwise - well Jules isn’t saying.
