Doug Jones, the master of creature acting and performance capture is hard at work playing not one, not two, but three characters in the new Hellboy sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army.


The IESB was on set along with a group of journalists to talk to the actors and check out the amazing production that is going on.

Doug Jones is one of the most talented actors in the industry plus he’s so nice he makes Mother Teresa seem pushy.

Is Dougie ready to get out of the heavy make-up and prosthetics and put on his ultra-cool silver spandex bodysuit to portray the Silver Surfer once again over at FOX?

Here’s what he had to say about a sequel,

Doug Jones: I know as much as you do about that. I wish I knew more. I suppose they have a writer hired, who's been talking about it at Comic-Con? So that's how I heard about him. So, as far as the timing goes, I don't know. As far as whether they're going to come back for me again, I'm contracted for two more, whether they exercise that contract is up to them. I would like to…I would like to…

Q: Even with someone else’s voice?

DJ: I would like that to change. (laughter)

Funny story, coincidence we ran into another Fantastic Four castmaste Ioan Gruffudd while out to dinner in Budapest. He was dining with Tim Curry. They are currently shooting The Secret of Moonacre while in town.

Ok, inauguriamo il topic per il terzo film, non sappiamo ancora se ci sarà Doom, ma... ho forti dubbi che, se ci sarà, avrà adeguato spazio.
Visto come lo hanno trattato nel primo e soprattutto nel secondo film, non credo più nella valorizzazione del personaggio, non finchè il regista resterà Tim Story.
E soprattutto se ci saranno altri villain con cui Doom dovrebbe spartire fette del film... un gigante come Doom relegato a macchietta... mah

la penso anch'io come voi

però vorrei che in un altro film della fx in alternativa a FIII, julian potesse avere un ruolo da protagonista o coprotagonista... perchè se deve fare la comparsa... allora tanto vale che la faccia come doom

Galactus Being Saved for Silver Surfer

Possibly one of the biggest disappointments for any comic book fan seeing last year's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was that the world-devouring entity known as Galactus was barely shown, looking more like a giant storm cloud than the immense being with the spiked headpiece and purple outfit that we've come to know and love since his introduction during Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's run on the characters.

Well, have no fear, true believers, because the planned Silver Surfer prequel movie will give the fans what they want, a much better look at Galactus, at least according to the film's screenwriter, J. Michael Straczynski, who mentioned this at his Wondercon Spotlight panel.
As Newsarama reports from the panel:

For what the Silver Surfer movie entails Straczynski says it will cover the origin of the character. He said it will feature Galactus, noting that the latest Fantastic Four film held off on showing Galactus to reveal him for this film.
