Julian McMahon, star di Nip and Tuck, e dottor Destino in I FANTASTICI QUATTRO, sarà in PREMONITION accanto a Sandra Bullock. Il film segna il debutto hollywoodiano del regista tedesco Mennan Yapo. Julian McMahon (Fantastic Four) is joining Sandra Bullock in Premonition, a supernatural film that will mark the Hollywood directorial debut of Germany's Mennan Yapo, Variety reported.

The Bill Kelly script revolves around a woman who has a premonition that her husband will die in a car crash and sets out to prevent it.

The film will be produced by Ashok Amritraj, Jon Jashni, Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Sunil Perkash. Andrew Sugerman is executive-producing.

"Nip/Tuck" thesp Julian McMahon is joining Sandra Bullock in "Premonition," the Hollywood debut of German director Mennan Yapo ("Soundless").

Pic is a Hyde Park production for TriStar and MGM. Shooting begins in January.

Bill Kelly script revolves around a woman who has a premonition that her husband will die in a car crash and sets out to prevent it.

The film will be produced by Ashok Amritraj, Jon Jashnii, Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Sunil Perkash. Andrew Sugerman is exec producing.

Matt Brodlie is overseeing the pic for TriStar.

McMahon plays Dr. Christian Troy on the FX series "Nip/Tuck." On the bigscreen, he was most recently seen in Fox's "The Fantastic Four" as Dr. Doom.

Julian McMahon has signed on to star opposite Sandra Bullock in the thriller "Premonition." German helmer Mennan Yapo already has boarded the film, which is a Hyde Park production for TriStar Pictures and MGM.

The story centers on a housewife (Bullock) whose husband dies in a car crash and is shocked when he appears alive the next day.

Hyde Park Entertainment's Ashok Amritraj and Jon Jashni are producing. Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Sunil Perkash also are producing.

The film marks the third effort from the new TriStar, a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment that was relaunched last year under president Valerie Van Galder as a genre label. "Running With Scissors" and "Silent Hill" are the other upcoming TriStar titles. The label also picked up worldwide English-language distribution rights to Media 8's romantic comedy "Wedding Daze" last week at the American Film Market in Santa Monica.

Recently appointed senior vp acquisitions and production Matt Brodlie will oversee the project for TriStar.

Shooting for the film is set to begin in January in Louisiana.

McMahon is repped managed by CAA and 3 Arts Entertainment.

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com)- Julian McMahon is in place to co-star in "Premonition," a Sandra Bullock thriller set up at TriStar and MGM.
Mennam Yapo ("Framed") will direct the film, which focuses on a woman (Bullock), whose husband dies in a car crash and then seems to be alive the next day. Has he been resurrected? Did she merely dream about his death? Or was it a, um, premonition of things to come? Given the film's title, guessing probably isn't necessary.

Hyde Park is producing "Premonition." Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Sunil Perkash will serve as producers along with Jon Jashni and Ashok Amritraj, while Andrew Sugarman will executive produce. According to The Hollywood Reporter, production will begin in January in Louisiana.

McMahon was a Golden Globe nominee this year for his work as Christian Troy on FX's plastic surgery series. Before becoming a "Nip/Tuck" regular, he'd worked steadily on television shows including "Charmed" and "Profiler." He was last seen on the big screen in this summer's hit "Fantastic Four."
